Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve just uploaded some magazine scans to the gallery. BTW, Romain will join Audrey Tautou in Michel Gondry’s new French language movie L’Ecume Des Jours. The movie is based on the 1947 novel by Boris Vian, and it will start filming early next year.

Disney’s new animated film ‘Tangled’ will premiere on December 1, 2010 in France. And According to this article on AlloCiné, Romain will be the voice of Flynn Rider in the French version ‘Raiponce’.

Romain Duris and Pascal Chaumeil, star and director of this year’s hit French comedy Heartbreaker, are going into business again with Universal Pictures International. London-based UPI has boarded Chaumeil’s next comedy Vivre c’est mieux que mourir (Living Is Better Than Dying), which will also star Marion Cotillard. The film goes into production summer 2011. UPI has also announced that it is co-financing two other French projects. Audrey Tatou will co-star in Jalil Lespert’s drama/mystery Des Vents Contraires. Tu Seras Mon Fils, directed by Gilles Legrand, has already gone into production.

Heartbreaker, starring Duris and Vanessa Paradis, was UPI’s second French co-production. It has become one of the highest-grossing French films of the year, totalling over 3.7 million admissions in France. Working Title is planning the English-language remake. Vivre c’est mieux que mourir will be produced by local producer Quad Productions. This time around Duris will play a likeable dreamer who takes refuge in a hotel from the police; once there he buys himself time by pitching an over-the-top blockbuster to a Hollywood producer. French sales agent Kinology is handling international sales. UPI France will release in 2012.

According to this article on AlloCiné, Romain will work with “HeartBreaker” director Pascal Chaumeil again in a new spy comedy film called “Vivre, c’est mieux que mourir”. This is so exciting!
